Explore a preserve at night during popular evening walk for couples and friends
(Feb. 6, 2024) — Enjoy the springlike temperatures forecasted for this upcoming weekend with someone you love on a Nature Date Night: Romantic Night Hike from 6 to 9 p.m. on Feb. 9 and 10 at the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County’s Fullersburg Woods Forest Preserve at 3609 Spring Road in Oak Brook.
Take a 1- to 2-mile self-guided walk with your sweetheart or pals on lantern-lit paths. Meander through an oak forest, and cross scenic bridges where you can listen to the soothing sounds of Salt Creek. Pause along the way to warm up at historic shelters and cozy fires or to roast marshmallows and sip hot chocolate.

“We set the scene for a beautiful winter escape,” said District environmental interpreter Jenny Kamm. “Year after year this is one of our most popular programs for adults.”
